Coal baby, not cool?

As the crypto market continues to evolve and expand, investors and analysts alike are constantly seeking the next big breakout opportunity. With established players like Ripple (XRP) and Polygon (POL) holding strong positions, and emerging projects like Pepe (PEPE) and Lightchain AI (LCAI) gaining traction, the question on everyone’s mind is - Which crypto is set to dominate in 2025? We asked ChatGPT 4.0 to analyze the current trends, technological advancements, and growth trajectories of these tokens. Here’s what it had to say about Ripple (XRP), Polygon (POL), Pepe (PEPE), and Lightchain AI—and which one might come out on top in 2025. Ripple (XRP) Legal Battle and Its Impact on Long-Term Potential Mostly driven by its goal on cross-border payments and money transfers, Ripple (XRP) has become well-known as a major participant in the crypto scene. XRP has maintained its value despite the SEC court action because of its ties to banks and financial institutions. Clearly used in global financial systems, it is among the best goods available on the market. Still, problems follow around. The SEC lawsuit has reduced prospects; while Ripple's job is good, it hasn't received the broad adoption required for global domination. On the other hand, XRP may gain popularity should Ripple prevail, therefore strengthening global money. Legal problems, however, might prevent its expansion next to other plans, leaving the 2025 leader unclear. Polygon And PEPE’s Strong Technological Foundations In 2024 both PEPE and Polygon (MATIC) saw notable market volatility. The price of Polygon has changed; predictions point to it possibly reaching between $0.48 and $0.50 by early 2025. Polygon keeps strengthening on its solid basis in spite of these swings by improving its Layer-2 solutions and creating strategic alliances, which are supposed to propel long-term expansion. Comparably, PEPE, a meme-inspired cryptocurrency, has demonstrated great volatility; its price has surged then dropped. Forecasts by analysts show PEPE trading between $0.0000144 and $0.0000666 in 2025, suggesting possible for both big losses and profits. While making investment selections, investors in both assets should take into account the underlying principles and long-term prospects as well as be ready for changes in the market. Lightchain AI Future of Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence Lightchain AI (LCAI) is an exciting newcomer to the crypto space, merging artificial intelligence (AI) with blockchain technology. Coupang's Growth Story Persists Amid South Korean Market Unrest

Sports on TV for Monday, Dec. 30DENVER (AP) — On a night when rookie quarterback Bo Nix threw one touchdown pass, his defense caught two. In a game where Nix completed 18 passes for 294 yards, his defense picked off three Jameis Winston passes for 171 yards. That defense is Nix’s best friend. Even in a game where it was getting shredded by Winston, Denver's D delivered a pair of pick-6s in a wild 41-32 win over the Cleveland Browns on Monday night. That side of the ball got gouged — allowing a Browns-record 497 yards passing from Winston and a career-best 235-yard receiving performance by former Broncos receiver Jerry Jeudy — but made game-changing plays when it mattered most. “It’s pretty nice for the offense when they bail us out like that,” Nix said. “It was a complete team win." Next up, rest. The Broncos (8-5) enter their bye week two games clear of Indianapolis (6-7) for the final AFC playoff spot. They play the Colts coming out of the break. With a 76% postseason probability, according to the NFL, Nix and the Broncos are setting up for some meaningful football down the stretch. The team hasn't been to the playoffs since winning the Super Bowl after the 2015 season. “We’re a confident bunch right now,” said Nix, whose team has won three in a row. “We’re playing aggressively. We’re playing together. We’re playing with a little bit of confidence and a chip on our shoulder.” The Broncos have graduated to a place where they can overcome sticky situations, such as big games from Winston and Jeudy. “When need be," Nik Bonitto said, “we’re going to find a way to win and that’s what we did.” Bonitto helped lead the way with a 71-yard pick-6 in the second quarter. Ja’Quan McMillian wrapped up the game when he intercepted a pass, fell on his back, got up and sprinted 44 yards for a score with 1:48 left. If that wasn't enough, Cody Barton picked off Winston in the end zone and was on his way for another score, returning it 56 yards before being tackled. “Holy cow. Some games go in a direction you think they are going to go. Obviously that one went in a much different direction,” coach Sean Payton said. "We did enough and made enough plays in the end to win.” This is a Denver defense that leads the league in sacks and now has three interception returns for TDs. “I couldn’t be more proud of our team and just where we’re going,” linebacker Jonathon Cooper said. “It's really important that we get our rest this bye week and come back and look at the film and keep it rolling.” The tandem of Nix and Marvin Mims Jr. They connected on a 93-yard touchdown pass, which is tied for the fourth longest in team history. It's the longest since Jay Cutler found receiver Eddie Royal for a 93-yard score at Cleveland on Nov. 6, 2008. To celebrate, Mims jumped into the stands. “Nobody else was close to me, so I was like: ‘You know what? I’ll jump in the stands,’" he said. “I got grabbed a lot up there. It was cool.” The Broncos had a pair of 100-yard receivers in Mims (105 yards) and Courtland Sutton (102). Story continues below video The defense could use some shoring up after allowing 552 yards of total offense. The Browns were 2 of 2 on fourth down conversions and had 28 first downs. “Through all the bad things, we just stuck together,” McMillian said. “We didn’t split up. We stayed together and kept fighting to the end.” Wil Lutz. The kicker hit both field goals and all five extra points to eclipse 1,000 career points in his 127th game. He's the fifth-fastest player to reach the milestone mark. Levi Wallace. The Browns picked on the cornerback as he tried to cover Jeudy. Denver did stick star cornerback Pat Surtain II on Jeudy at times in an effort to contain him. “He definitely had himself a game,” Surtain said of Jeudy, his teammate with the Broncos and in college at Alabama. Cornerback Riley Moss (knee) was sorely missed as the Broncos struggled to contain Jeudy, Elijah Moore (eight catches, 111 yards) and tight end David Njoku (nine catches, 52 yards and two scores). On Tuesday, the Broncos waived receiver Josh Reynolds, who's been on injured reserve after breaking his finger against Las Vegas in Week 5. Reynolds missed the New Orleans game on Oct. 17 and stayed behind in Denver. He and his companions were the victims of a drive-by shooting later that night after leaving a strip club. Of the bullets fired at the vehicle, one struck Reynolds in the left arm and another grazed the back of his head. Reynolds had 12 catches for 183 yards and one TD with Denver this season. 5 — For the fifth time in team history, the Broncos returned two interceptions for touchdowns in a game. The previous time Denver had a pair of pick-6s in the same game was Oct. 18, 2018, at Arizona by Todd Davis and Chris Harris Jr. A week off and then a critical home game against Indianapolis on Dec. 15. AI no longer flavour of the season but a reality at scale; 2025 to see AI turn into business value PTI Updated: December 29th, 2024, 17:26 IST in Business , Sci-Tech 0 Pic- IANS Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on WhatsApp Share on Linkedin New Delhi: Artificial intelligence (AI) transitioned from a temporary trend to a widespread reality, gaining traction across industries due to its potential to enhance efficiency, generate revenue and create entirely new roles, yet concerns around its use and impact on jobs remained. Gone are the days when it was merely a buzzword; AI has now become an integral part of business strategy across various sectors. But its full impact on jobs is little known and so is the issue of intellectual property, data ownership and its privacy implications, and liability – who is liable if an accident or mishap occurs due to the use of AI. Also Read Stock markets to end 2024 with positive returns despite roller coaster ride 52 mins ago Mcap of 6 of top-10 most valued firms climbs Rs 86,847.88 cr; HDFC Bank, RIL biggest gainers 1 hour ago As technology becomes increasingly human-like and pervasive, organisations are now striving to unlock business value through innovative methods to engage customers and employees, enhance operational efficiencies, and generate new revenue streams, Wipro CIO Anup Purohit said. “We are working towards a future where AI is integrated seamlessly into everyday operations beyond the honeymoon period and into a mature phase,” he said in an interaction with PTI. “This growth isn’t confined to technology firms; conventional sectors like banking, finance, and healthcare are also progressively integrating AI to improve operational efficiency and boost customer engagement. “AI is no longer the flavour of the season but is now the reality at scale. It is gaining momentum across all business domains and sectors. Even those that were traditionally considered laggards like BFSI or healthcare are looking forward to embracing AI. “CIOs today are shifting their approach away from POC to executing initiatives at scale ... to turn the GenAI ‘trend’ into business value by solving real business problems and cutting out the noise while managing costs,” Purohit said. However, Indian enterprises will need to scale AI by expanding the gamut beyond basic virtual assistants and predictive analytics to a combination of AI-tech-based scalable use cases, according to nasscom. “With the global AI market valued at approximately USD 235 billion and projected to grow to over USD 631 billion by 2028, AI is redefining industries and economies. The possibilities seem endless, from predictive analytics in agriculture to personalised healthcare solutions. In addition, emerging technologies such as quantum computing and federated learning are poised to redefine the AI landscape and open new frontiers,” Tech Mahindra COO Atul Soneja said. Agentic AI: The new frontier of Autonomous Intelligence The futuristic movies where technology takes over human tasks are set to become a reality in 2025, as an increasing number of enterprises adopt agentic AI to handle mundane and repetitive jobs. Arun Parameswaran, MD, Sales, Salesforce India, believes 2025 will mark the true dawn of agentic AI – a new era where AI systems move beyond being reactive assistants to becoming proactive, autonomous agents capable of transforming customer engagement, business efficiency, and decision-making. “We will witness AI agents working collaboratively, transforming productivity and redefining problem-solving at an unprecedented scale. The future will not just be about using AI; it will be about creating and customizing agents that collaborate to understand and execute strategic tasks and decisions, both in personal and business contexts,” he said. AI agents will significantly enhance business processes by improving efficiency and customer service, Purohit said. Sky’s the Limit: Cloud Computing soars alongside AI In addition to AI, cloud computing continues to gain traction. Major players like Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure are expanding their footprints in India, catering to the increasing demand for scalable and flexible IT solutions. This shift towards cloud services is enabling businesses to innovate rapidly and respond more effectively to market changes. According to research firm IDC, the overall Indian public cloud services market is expected to reach $24.2 billion by 2028, growing at a CAGR of 23.8 per cent for 2023-28. “The integration of AI with cloud services will allow companies to quickly scale their AI models, manage extensive datasets in real-time, and gain insights for smarter decision-making. “The combination of AI and cloud services will help businesses innovate more swiftly, respond to market changes with greater flexibility, and maintain a long-term competitive edge,” Purohit said. Adapt or fade away: Upskilling essential amid AI boom The rapid evolution of technology is also reshaping the job landscape and demand for skilled talent is set to soar as AI continues to redefine job roles across sectors. “With the rapid deployment of AI-led solutions, the industry will soon witness a demand-supply gap of skilled talent. Future professionals will need to build deeper business and communications skills, such as listening, problem-solving, as well as specific domain expertise to leverage AI to solve complex business problems,” Purohit said. Future professionals will need a robust blend of technical expertise and soft skills, including adaptability, emotional intelligence, and strong communication abilities. As businesses increasingly rely on AI-driven solutions, there will be a critical need for individuals who can bridge the gap between technology and business strategy. “AI/Gen AI will impact knowledge work (white-collar work) in ways that no prior technology has, and this is likely to cause significant and continuous shifts in knowledge work (the what) and ways of working (the how) for all businesses. All businesses will need to define work next-practices continually to remain competitive,” TCS CTO Harrick Vin said in an interaction with PTI. Future roles will require greater levels of critical thinking, design, strategic goal setting, and creative problem-solving skills, he said. “This would mean different things in the context of various types of work. For example, for the domain of software DevOps, teams will start to de-prioritise basic scripting skills for infrastructure provisioning and configuration, low-level monitoring configurations and metrics tracking, and test automation, among others. Instead, they will focus more on product requirements analysis, definition of acceptance criteria, software and architectural design,” Vin said. For professionals entering the tech industry in 2025, he listed three primary and most needed skills’ — Learning to learn; Critical thinking/analysis; and Techno-functional skills for applying computational thinking and methods to solve complex domain problems.
