Bonnie Ryan has opened up about her 2024, admitting it was one of the ‘hardest’ years of her life as she struggled with the ‘ebb and flow’. To the naked eye, the the beauty influencer has had her fair share of big moments over the past twelve months, but she admitted that Instagram is little more than a highlights reel. Taking to social media, Bonnie opened up about the moments behind the scenes as she reflected on the year. Sharing a series of emotional snaps, including ones that show her crying or with swollen eyes, Bonnie wrote: ‘Just to show life is an ebb and flow. Just because one chapter is bad doesn’t mean the others can’t be amazing. The beauty influencer revealed how ‘some days getting out of bed was a massive win’. Although Bonnie said she always tries ‘to be as positive as I can be’, this year ‘truly kicked me up the ass’. ‘And for all the shiny moments we see, we are all going through moments a little less shiny too!’ ‘For all the highs I’ve posted there [were] also many lows. Every year has its ups and downs. It’s how you deal with them and keep going,’ the influencer admitted. ‘I would say 2024 was maybe one of the hardest years of my life. Some days getting out of bed was a massive win. I always try to be as positive as I can be, but this year truly kicked me up the ass.’ Paying tribute to her husband John Greenhalgh , Bonnie said: ‘I’m so grateful for my husband who is really the only person who knows what I’ve been through. But I know I’m also beyond lucky for the life I’m getting to live. I will always find the positive no matter what. ‘2025 will be a year of ups and downs for everyone, of course, but I’m going into [it] excited and determined. Be kind, work hard, enjoy the little things and remember life is fragile and you need to be present!’ ‘Everyone has their battles so give people grace!,’ Bonnie urged. ‘And if you’re going through something I’m sending you love. May 2025 be your year!!’
